I wish we could see a real powerful advancement in CPU's for advanced physics and AI and things instead of graphics. More destructionable terrain. Imagine destroying a building in a Grand Theft Auto load up the game the next day to see a cleanup crew. Few in game days later and there's a building company making plans to rebuild. If PC gaming is the most cancerous platform then why are consoles striving to become it?
Look at the features they've been adding to consoles: Ability to change graphics, Mods, Ability to play movies, Downloadable games, etc.
Plus, the only thing that distinguishes consoles nowadays is Exclusives. (Excluding nintendo) Console companies have strived so hard to offer features "just like a PC" (which console users begged for) that there is almost nothing other than a few gimmicky features that separates the difference between XBOX and PS4. They've become tied-down, restricted PCs.
Here's an analogy for consoles and PCs.
Imagine you go to a sandwich shop with your bros. They say it's "the best", and you all order the same sandwich, two slices of bread with meat. You ask for a different sandwich but they say "it's the only one we got". Looking out the window, you see a subway. The people can choose anything they want. You ask your bros why they don't go to subway. They say stuff (you don't know whether it's true or not) like "it's hard to make a sandwich", "it costs more there", "what happens when you make a sandwich and it tastes bad?", etc. You say, "well, I would like to add in other ingredients than just a slice of meat." Your bros agree and they tell the owner of the shop that they should have different ingredients. The next day you walk in, and the shop now has different ingredients, but you don't really like the bread. So you tell your bros "Man, I kind of wish there was different bread..." this cycle of wanting more continues until one day you walk in, order the sandwich you want with every thing you want, and then suddenly you realize it's kind of shitty. The sandwich is smaller than it was on the first day, and it has hair in it. The owner says he had to sacrifice quality and quantity for the price of all of the new ingredients.

The only reason PC can't compete is because sadly PC exclusives with high budgets are a rarity these days. It's throughly depressing because we can almost never get games as big and beautiful as TW3 unless it's multiplatform. It seems that big budget games are too risky for PC.

Your image is exactly the reason the game isn't that spectacular (visually). All of the shadows and lighting in most scenes are pre-baked into the textures themselves, making it so there doesn't need to be any shadow maps or real lighting in the first place. But in this image you've shown everyone what it looks like with unbaked lighting. Looks very standard.
TL;DR Naughty Dog can make a pile of shit shine on whatever console they want if they have the right budget.

PS4 owner here, you're delusional. Every multiplat looks better and plays better, and the only games really worth mentioning graphically on the PS4 are Uncharted 4, The Order: 1886 which is a terrible game to boot, and Until Dawn. Bloodborne looks decent, but the frame rate issues and permanent CA really hurt it.
I'm more excited about Nioh than any of those, though. If Sony spent more time getting better games I might have bought more of them.

That's subjective, I had a lot of fun playing it. What made me consider it a good game was that the voice acting, animation, environmental design and graphical fidelity were all very good. The core gameplay (lots of climbing and third person platforming along with cover based shooter) doesn't appease everyone, but I enjoyed the shooting segments due to the freedom of being able to punch people from above and keep on the move while fighting as opposed to being glued to a wall and pop out all the time. The game is iterative, I find that there were more enjoyable aspects of the game than negative ones, though I do understand why it might not appeal to you and I respect your opinion.

The original Crysis was a pretty big jump in graphical fidelity, at least for me. When it came out in 2007 I was playing primarily on 360 and it floored me. It just sucked that it didn't run particularly well except on the highest end hardware. Switched back to PC gaming because of it, and most games I wanted were going multiplat anyways.

The amount of PS3 Exclusives, arguably the shittiest console last gen, within the same two year post console release time frame as the PS4 is significantly higher.
PS4 has two whole games after two years and 6 months. It's also the best selling system of the consoles by a massive margin. Nearly all of the games on both Xbox and PS4 are on PC now regardless of this.
It's over, games cost too much to sell on singular platforms, the constant nickel and diming has harmed consoles, and at this point in the game people finally understand that the current gen consoles are literally just weaker PCs.
Uncharted 4 is a redbox for 1 day title, not Naughty Dog's Magnum Opus or some kind of system seller.
Bloodborne was both of those things and I doubt From are going to do another exclusive ever again.
