Lmao I decided to replay Borderlands 2 because i played it when it released but never finished it. It's not even the best game in it's own series, the combat is easy mode trash that is a breeze even on the hardest difficulty and the main plot is a brain numbing schlock and a complete step down from the first two games. Gay guy who's never played Fallout here. Aren't the games supposed to be the future as envisioned by 1950s America? In that case, this setting shouldn't be so tolerant of homosexuality. The gay character himself existing isn't a big deal - 3% of people are gay and Bethesda open world games have hundreds of NPCs - but how it's framed within the game universe is.
On the other hand, it could have been so much worse. You could have spent the quest trying to convince NPCs to accept him or find his husband or whatever, turning the PC into a gay rights activist.
