The problem is that there is some uncertainty, Blizz shill.
Overwatch has two problems that it has to overcome: (1) the as of yet unfulfilled promise of Blizzard support by introducing new maps and heroes and (2) the complete lack of community customization that other team-based FPS multiplayer games possess.
For the first problem, we just don't know if Blizzard will make good on their promise. Sure, they have proven to support their other games, but there is long line of team-based FPS games (e.g. Brink, Battleborn, etc.) that were essentially DOA because they did not make good on releasing more content.
This also cuts into the second problem, of not having the ability for community customization. One of the things that made TF2 so successful was that the community could make their own content which will never ever be available in Overwatch.
Without the assurance that Blizzard will make good on their promise and the lack of the ability for the community to make their own content, it makes Overwatch a risky venture. The fact is we WILL get bored with the same old maps and heroes eventually, and there is nothing we can do about it but hope that Blizzard releases more content (for free).

didn't bother me one bit, got to lvl 33 in beta, not that much, but a few hours, during that time there were maybe 2 or 3 situations where i got into double K.O situations, for casual pug's that's nothing
in competitive games and custom games in general there will be 60 tick, it's a non-issue to me
i think most people who whine about 20 tick think it will proportionately bad to how CSGO servers are, but Blizz servers in Overwatch have been pretty stellar so far in my experience

And since Blizzard refused to give out dedicated server tools for ESEA to host Overwatch tournament - to which ESEA told Blizz to go fuck themselves, they have to play stock settings too. So 20hz.

Also CS:GO is a poor comparison when CS might have equally shallow TTS but it does so with headshots and high damage single shots, along with no unpredictable movespeed changes making point-and-click king as opposed to mashing abilities and suddenly you died behind cover with no abilities fired off.

I have a question: will Blizzard be actively enforcing a better community in Overwatch? I'm talking active banning of everyone who doesn't make the game better, not just cheaters.
That means anyone who micspams gets a permaban on their first offense, everyone who goes AFK gets a perma ban, everyone under the age of 18 gets perma banned, everyone who doesn't play to win and tries to be "friendly" gets perma banned. Best of all, anyone who tries to draw porn of the game and actively shill it gets permabanned.
Let me tell you, if Blizzard actively does this with no remorse whatsoever, I might consider it worth the price tag. I'd gladly pay for a better community.

I played the brawl a lot because i enjoyed the randomness so much. It had some very nice moments. One time i got Roadhog and we had 3 Mercys in the team. That round was pretty fucked up for the other side.
