LOL overwatch has characters with auto aim and the aim is literally just point and hold down the button aka the same type of aim you need in CoD. Getting a headshot barely makes any difference in TTK unless you are playing a sniper and the extra damage can often get healed off.

This is where skill actually comes to play. Mobility is very important in cs and you choose between movement or shooting but have to coordinate so that there is as little delay between each action as possible. Good players have such tight movement that it almost looks like they are running and gunning. Look up stutter stepping.
The movement in cs actually requires skill instead of the run and gun CoD style overwatch uses where players can get the same mobility just by holding down strafe and shooting.

Both games are mostly team based synergy abuse, grenades in cs go is technically abilities from overwatch in that relation.
Low skill ceiling and high skill cap more or less makes all these arguments irrelevant, only a ranking/competitive mode really shows this.
So this can't be determined until it does come out, I guarantee the game will look a lot different 3 months after Overwatch comes out.

It is true that Counter Strike has a high skill ceiling. It's a simple yet good design for a shooter that's been out for closing in on 16 years. Early adopters had 16 years to develop those skills. With that being said, I think the game lacks ingenuity and Valve played it too safe with making CSGO making it very boring very fast unless they are part of a competitive scene (ESL, GB etc.). People play CSGO for the sake of competition and not because the game is enjoyable making the game shallow.
As far as Overwatch goes, the game is enjoyable even though it's INDIVIDUAL skill ceiling is lower than CSGO's. There are other games out there with lower skill ceilings that can be successful as an eSport (Halo series, CoD, LoL). Overwatch is more accessible to players meaning that people will spend more time perfecting their skills.
TL;DR Yes CSGO has a higher INDIVIDUAL skill ceiling than Overwatch because it's been out 16 years and it's a more individual game.

Not just because of spray patterns, but because every site has three to four ways to enter it. There's a 25% chance of a guy coming this way or that, and half the time you won't be able to hear or anticipate him.
