Yes. Sonic should be about running and jumping. Not platforming slower than Mario games.

I just played Knuckles Chaotix for the first time today.
Horrible game.
No enemies, same designed levels.
It was shit.
Then I popped on Heroes, which has too much character switching which breaks the pacing.

some have gimmicks like going up, going fast, but they're mostly boring
