Cleanliness and clothes are about 9 billion times more important than looks, which a lot of people fail to understand. If you're hot you may be able to get away with bad looking cargo shorts, t-shirts, hoodies and sneakers, but if you're not you look like a manchild.
And it's not like you need to look /fa/ as fuck or anything. Just wear clothes that'd be acceptable on casual friday at any office job and you'll look fine.
