Apart from Malkavian the clan personality type has little bearing on the game, 90% of the dialogue for the other clans is shared. Look at the disciplines, pick based on what powers look the most fun to you.
That's not to say there are no differences between the clans. Each has their little unique thing in the game, it's just usually not much more of a difference than people of your clan being willing to share a little more information.
