So I'm replaying this game for the first time in 10 years or so. And I don't remember finding the controls SO FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE. I mean the controls are just terrible.
Coming from a game like Dark Souls where your character always do what you tell them to and going to this... sloppy ass mess, just feels horrible.
Also, while I realize that they wanted it to be cinematic there are quite a few times where you are just walking/riding/swimming for what feels like an eternity... I'm just spoiled by modern games I guess.

No. The actions are often delayed, and very slow. For example, when climbing a colossus and trying to jump. The char will just stumble flail around for ages before actually doing anything.
