Dunno what you're talking about man. After the first bout with Ultros I gotta say I fucking loved the branching story lines there.
Like others said, it gave the world a larger scope, gave a sense of how the Empire's affecting others, and introduced a lot of new characters. Some of best moments are there too, especially Kefka during Sabin's branch. Shit, Sabin's alone was great just cuz you get Shadow, Cyan, and the Phantom Train.
Last of us. I don't care if this game is shit, ellie is ellen page, ps3 has no gaems, muh fps, citizen kane of gaming or reaction images.
