Been really diggin' Crawl as of late. Here's hoping it will get that update soon.
La-Mulana might be my favorite game
Dustforce provided me with over 80 hours of fun and I still go back to it from time to time. Volgarr The Viking's great too since it scratched that Classicvania itch. Also Environmental Station Alpha, Freedom Planet, Salt & Sanctuary, Momodora Reverie Under The Moonlight and Maldita Castilla.

Mah nigga. RoR is probably in my top 5 games ever played. It's perfect in every way (minus all the fucking bugs.) I've poured so many hours into this game. I should really play with /v/ sometime. Acrid mains represent.

it's good but there isn't enough shit that can happen, at least not in vanilla. that and it's kinda awkward maximizing every single moment of our run to have a chance against the flagship. it takes away from the space exploration/wonder. "but just play on normal" no because then there's no challenge. I want it both ways.
I picked up and enjoyed Momodora RutM recently.
Rabi-Ribi was surprisingly good, too.

yeah it took a long time for me too but once you figure out what works then it just starts to click and you can be more creative and make it work

I wish more people would give this a try. Its a pretty hard mega man clone with a bunch of weird shit happening.

I've poured so many fucking hours into The Binding of Isaac, I almost feel bad. It's damn addicting and has so much content packed into it.
Other good ones are Fez and Bastion. They're maximum comfy in terms of graphics and music.
Environmental Station Alpha was a pretty nice metroid-like

Man that takes me back. Used to play dishwasher with at my friends place in 9th grade. Fun as hell.
It's so fucking good. The ONLY game that makes me feel like I'm playing Super Metroid again for the first time. The endless wonder and desire to see what comes next.

The thing about Loader is that he was loaded into the game after the game's sudden popularity fell out, along with Chef. The game was released in 2012 and the update that placed him into the game happened near 2015 or 2014.
I like Grow Home. Simple and pretty.
