So I bought the AA Trilogy on sale, and damn is this good. Just finishing out the Turnabout Sisters case and I'm hooked.
Does it stay this good all the way through?
Yes. The bonus case is a bit lackluster after the 4th, but overall its an amazing game and series.
The series as a whole is great, but it hits some rough patches...Like with justice for all as a whole.

Ashes is amazing
It has its ups and downs but the first game is pretty consistent. It has goodbyes, which is one of the best cases in the series.

AAI2 is a great game, I won't deny that. Fleshing out AAI1's characters AND Edgeworth's dad, having the best gameplay gimmick in the series, and its method of tightly interconnecting every single case to each other made the game a joy to behold. Its only problem was how some parts just tended to drag on for no good reason. I know people like to complain about how Alba dragged, but at least he managed to do it in a way that just made me even more invested in taking him down. But people like friggin Gustavia and Keyes had no fucking right to take that long.

So here's what'll happen, OP. You're gonna soon be diving into AA2, and I'll tell ya, it's still pretty good. The quality will start to fall a little though, and by the end of Turnabout Big Top, you'll be begging for it to just end.
Then, suddenly, WOOSH, the quality shoots up the roof. The second game ends on an incredible case and sets up the third and final entry in the trilogy, which maintains excellent quality for its entirety.
Imagine a wave that sinks, rises sharply, flatlines, then rises a bit more.
