Sea raiders is understandable but bandits? Are you hitting them with a stick or something? Get enough peasants with you and you can just steamroll the bandits.... Well then there's the specialized bandits too but I'm not too sure anymore if that's mods or base game anymore.

Vaegir are by far the best race in game. DL floris mod - make 50 Vaegir Hawkeyes and about 20 Sentinels. Everything dies before they even reach me.

Option 1:
Git gud in the practice arena, it'll give you some income too once you do start getting better. Then travel around for tournaments and get some nice fat gold stacks from betting on yourself in those.
Also get a good horse and a voulge or other 2handed weapon, those are invaluable to just charge and swing troops down on the battlefield. Just charge your forces in (unless you're a shooty faction like Rhodoks, in which case hang them back and wait to be charged) and then come riding through the flank, a horse charge speed swing from a strong character will oneshot dudes.
