I had a hard time enjoying Lisa the Joyful because of the simple fact of how horrible a person she is, in a game full of even worse people. They tried to hard to blame her circumstances for how bad she turned out.

Brad isn't stubbornly sure he's correct though, he's using Buddy to get over his guilt. He still realizes his mistakes at the end though. Also he doesn't go and murder 95% of the people he meets.
