Too bad the game is a boring and annoying to play piece of crap with the worst pacing issues since Persona 3.
It's a cover shooter with regenerating health, but it heavily discourages actually using cover because most cover is destructible, enemies will swarm and flank you from every possible angle and if you dont kill enemies within a few seconds they will take turns spawning grenades right next to you. I haven't been this annoyed with a shooter since CoD4.
And to add to that, the story is terribly written and filled with forced "emotional" scenes that dont fit the series. And you spend, I kid you not, literally half the game climbing. There's barely any shooting sections, and thank fuck for that because the combat is awful.
But yeah the graphics look great, 10/10 GOTY.

Uncharted 4 does have a nice artstyle since it's a bit more vivid than most "realistic" games.Not sure if it's true for 4 but in 1-2 they would hand paint over textures to give them more of a vivid look and that really enhanced them I think.Still doesn't excuse the angry kids for making constant bait threads about the games graphics though.

Seriously, Uncharted doesn't looks amazing. The shitty materials and lightning makes everything looks like plastic it's crazy.
For one thing, The Order looks better in PS4, and then ID Tech 6, Frostbite and even fucking Cry Engine are either more realistic, performs better, or both, while being multiplatform, running twice the framerate even on consoles.
Even Luminous engine for FFXV has better features (like actual TOD, realtime global illumination and physically based rendering on the first pass)

The best part about this game is how the screenshots will have supersampling and anisotropic filtering applied so that other consolecucks online will actually believe that the game doesn't look much shittier than the screenshots in real time.
While playing, textures at any viewing angle under 90 degrees (that is, most of them at any given time) might as well be flat colors. AF is completely absent.

The reward for exploration in Uncharted 4 is not only treasure/tangible collectibles but simply visually witnessing these beautiful nooks and crannies of the jungle. You have to usually climb or operate machinery or rope swing and generally ventures across all different kinds of terrain to reach places, it's must better than literally just running forward in an open world map.

Creating great graphics for such a game is pretty damn easy considering you as a developer can restrict the players option to go anywhere on the map at any given time
Even the "open" areas in uncharted are small confined valleys which is at any given time smaller than a Far Cry 2 multiplayer map, where the the drawdistance can be limited.

You must think linear=corridor game which is hilarious. Go watch on youtube how open uncharted 4 is and how diverse and incredibly detailed the Liebtarlia level alone actually is.
It completely stomps on the creativity and technical achievement of a flat open world where you can essentially rehash forest for 10 square miles with zero verticality where as with a game like Uncharted you actually have to create good level design with verticallaty and constantly changing environments
