Luca Blight is probably the villain that did the most wrong in all of vidya. He's still the best villain in the history of vidya as far as I'm concerned. Motherfucker was a merciless straight up evil bad ass that was a joy to fight and kill. Suikoden 2 should have ended with him instead of the generic "muh godlike being" bullshit

He was perfectly built up as an evil motherfucker that will easily kick your ass for the entire time the game had him alive, there was great dialogue hyping him up all the way through. You had to go to war, to ambush him and kill all of his army and then fight him 18 v 1 so you could finally finish him off 1 v 1
He's the perfect example of how to do villains in story based RPG's.
The only thing they fucked up was not having him the final boss. Suikoden 2 is great but it went very downhill after Luca Blight was killed. That ambush should have been one of the last moments of the game and the shit in the castle with the godlike being should have been before it.
