I think it actually plays like a classic Castlevania, just in 3D, with death traps, jumps that can actually be a little tricky and cool boss fights.

It's pretty good, I remember playing through the whole game in like three sittings because I died with the nitro all the time. Reinhardt was cool, but I always used Carrie.
I played that game to the bones along with OOT, I actually liked medieval settings then.
Curse is good but I preferred Lament.
