I am, got my playlist down so the game stays fresh. Finished Caldarius, dunno which BB I wanna max next though.
Gearbox's character design and sense of humor is just kind of... Unpleasant.
And they actually killed Aliens Colonial Marines in cold blood so I'm never buying one of their games again, even though gameplay-wise Battleborn looks fine.

The character design is inspired and original. It's a perfect mesh of character that fit the MOBA character variation formula of the game.

Some of the characters are pretty crappy. If they're not SJW role models like Reyna, Shane, and that elf chick with skunk hair, they're lolrandom characters like Orlandi or overtly weaboo like Deande.
Don't get me wrong. I'm having fun playing the game with other people. But some of the characters are pretty cringey and eyeroll-inducing.
Apart from these examples, the rest of the cast of characters are alright or close to it. Some bad dialogue, but there are a few winners.

The only Gearbox game I've ever liked was the PC port of Halo, and I'm sure all the employees who worked on that are either dead or long gone from that company. Fuck Gearbox.

You're making false assumptions on the reasons those characters exist. They're going with specific styles with each character. Take Caldarius, who is basically just a Gundam.
