Now, it might not make sense for them to not let you graduate until you're powerful enough to kill Beerus with your tongue, but that doesn't mean they won't do it anyway.
It would also make the different mentors you unlock and the letter grades for each mission have more integration with the plot, if I am right.
Furthermore, there is a large grey castle with shenron carvings visible in almost every shot (making me think it's in the center of the hub world), but I'm 99% sure that's just the residence of whoever the Kai is that's in charge of the time patrol. Likely SKOT.

I tried making my character legit, he was Namekian but I made him darkskin and gave him some unique features like not having ears, having a giant forehead and brow, etc. The idea was to make him look like a demonspawn of King Piccolo so I called him Ocarina.
