So is this worth the $16? Looks like a lot of fun.

Pc games are free
It's Dark Souls in 2D.
So no.
>>337963440
>>337963529
So yes?
>dark souls in 2d
kek
yes it is
the art is absolute shit, but don't let it get to you
just put a helmet on your character so you don't have to see its ugly mug and enjoy the game
>>337963529
so it's a castlevania game?
>>337963687
Yes.
>>337963741
I just want metroidvania. This game looks like it's got it.
>>337963893
combat feels more like souls, you know.. clunky
but the world is pretty much metroidvania
>>337963893
Might as well be. It's got whips. Even has sword whips.
>>337963345
It's decent for what it is, was a good distraction before DaS3 came out, but probably never going to touch it again. Not worth that price imo
really glad I got it despite the art
it makes no attempt at hiding it's a rip-off (lol at that exact clone of blight town), but I really didn't care because it did it well
never going to go back to it though, got to NG++ and that was enough for me
>>337963561
>only on AAA bullshit I never like in the first place
>>337964639
So there is new game+ ? nice.
>>337964806
yes, same system as souls
stuff gets harder with every +
witch of the lake especially painful as you go up on NGs (at least without a shield anyway)
>>337963561
ur a real funny guy
>>337964885
...well, same, I read NG+7 is the cap for some reason -- not that I had any intention to go that far
Looks fun but holy shit the art style is tremendously bad. Bad enough to make me not want to play the game.
It's finally out on PC plataform
>>337965195
you can somewhat hide your face with a lot of hair or a helmet at least
Test do not reply

???????????
>>337965897
>>337966269
There's a 3D rendered movie of Lara being fucked by a horse with a massive dick.
It's really fun. Not that long though, took me 28 hours to 100% the game. Two play through.
Mages are OP as fuck. Some bosses are hard as fuck. Try to beat the prologue boss for a large amount of salt to level to 13-14 immediately.
remember to not use a guide, you can end up going on some weird fun paths, most areas are linked -- and makes you want to take notes
>>337966269
>2 shitty games
>>337966731
Wow this looks like it has bigger world to explore than dark souls III.
>>337966596
prologue boss mostly nice for that limited unique upgrade material
unless they changed it you can only get one per NG (and it's damn well hidden), and the prologue boss is a one-time extra -- pretty easy after you get the idea
but yeah, just doing a regular 100% is not that long -- unless you want to start experimenting with more builds, use challenge options and the like (there's even a permadeath option)
>>337966930
And yet it's shorter and the only real roadblocks are unfair bosses.
>>337967070
I can't think of any unfair bosses, maybe you just sucked
the cave areas itself was a pain the first time I went through it though, but I destroyed the boss once I finally got to it
>>337963345
Should I buy this or enter the gungeon?
>>337963345
I've played it a lot on the PS4, even got the platinum trophy.
Dude, you should definitely play it if you like Dark Souls games, e.g. Bloodborne, Demon Souls; and Castelvania.
It's a very good game, filled with challenges and secrets.
Don't play thief tho, daggers suck ass.
>>337967148
If you're so poor that you can only afford one, you should really be pirating only
>>337967142
Tree
of
Men
>>337967359
please, it's one of the easiest boss
unless you keep falling for the "staying on the bottom platform" every single time
>>337967440
The Witch is also unfair as fuck.
I only got the platinum for this shit thanks to the overpowered Dragonbreath spell they had on release. Thank fuck I finished that shit before they patched it.
>>337967359
>>337967440
also, it's possible to beat the game without fighting Tree of Men
game has so many shortcuts and bypass you can figure out
>>337963345
I like the studio that made this a lot.
They're indies, but not lame indies.
>>337967617
I was melee with a 2H pole-axe and didn't really have problem getting platinum.
Witch did kill me a few times at first, but after I got her pattern down it was just business as usual
>>337964885
Bitch of the Lake is pretty much only boss from midgame forwards that gave me any trouble and it's because of her bullshit magic machinegun that instakills you, which she can of course use from off screen.
Anyway, who House of Splendor?
>>337968367
>off screen
and that's part of why the idea is to stay close, lets you avoid most of her moves
a good shield trivialize that fight though
I think I'm going to buy it.
Should I play m+kb or 360 controller?
Just bought it out of the blue and gave it 2 hours test run. It feels great so far. Not too shy of showing where its inspiration comes from, but that's definitely not a bad thing. A couple of my friends who are Souls fans were turned off by the character art style, but it's really just opinions. I don't mind it at all.
The combat has a lot of weight into it and minus the short levitation combo you can do in the air, it has all of your basic Souls mechanics in it. It has balls for sure.
I'm already hooked on the exploration and stuff I can see, but are not within my reach, just makes me wish I could play this a day straight to see more of things. Also, bestiary is a thing, which also shows drops with question marks on stuff you haven't got yet from each enemy. I love that. Jerks off that little completionist within me.
Audio has been so far pretty amazing, once again drawing a lot of inspiration from Souls series, which I like a lot.
Overall, it's already worth of its price.Got it a couple of Euros cheaper from Humble Bundle.I've never got the time to get into the Souls series, so I'm excited to give this a spin. Thumbs up from me.
>>337970149
>>337970153
This is me. 360 controller works fine as expected due to its console origins.
>>337970875
Thanks bud
>>337970149
definitely needs a controller
360 is fine since you don't need the d-pad much, d-pad is just shortcuts
