Change it to well polished games. They manage to make even the biggest shit in its core look good on the first time, until you see through the facade and see the pure shit. Best examples are WoW and Diablo. Nobody cares about StarCraft anymore. Whatever you want to call it. The point is that Blizzard makes a more quality conscious approach to how they monetise their content.
Valve has decided to only monetise cosmetics and that has lead to both Dota and TF2 becoming obnoxious messes of visual clutter. Meanwhile Blizzard monetises the gameplay and this tradeoff lets their game retain some sort of premium feeling while still being free to play to at least some extent.
Opening a free to play Valve game is like opening a department store catalogue. Meanwhile Opening HS or HotS feels like opening a game.
Now you can of course prefer either. There are trade-offs to both approaches. Personally I think traditional pay to play is the superior approach, and our pals at Blizzard is doing that with Overwatch. It's sad to me that the best moba in my eyes is getting ruined by the free to play trash. Looking at the new compendium makes me sick.
