Is street fighter v worth 20 bucks, physical copy? People are telling me fuck no, but surely it isn't that bad
is this an online deal, i haven't played SFV yet because the likelihood is when i have it i'll remember how shit i am at fightan and only play it locally with my equally scrubby friends

Street Fighter V is totally worth $20. It's a good fighting game, but if you were counting on doing things that aren't training mode, local play, and netplay, then prepare for disappointment. The story mode that's there is a joke, survival is probably the worst mode in a fighting game ever due to being mind numbingly monotonous and long but also having nearly all the unlockable content based around beating it, and the netplay is really hit or miss. When it's good it's some of the smoothest fightan on the market, but when it's bad, it's a teleporty nightmare.

If you like how the Alpha series plays, you'll like Street Fighter V. The online is decent enough. The roster is pretty small but it's made up by a fairly all-round balanced cast. Single player content is pretty shit, though I'd say it's worth playing through survival mode to get your favorite character's colors.

its not worth $20. online is shit and dead and full of cheaters for whats left. offline is trash on a scale unheard of. 2player still cant decide to go back to character select and 1 player controls that decision at end of matches for fucksake. survival and "story" are an absolute joke and no reason to exist let alone play them. the challenges/trails they added and took a month to get ready post release take 10 minutes to complete for everyone and even the shittiest player can complete them. they teach you to lead wiht a jump in heavy attack like an idiot and arent even optimal despite having a month to pick the best combos people came up with and none are even practical or use meter correctly.
the game is trash and nothing is going to fix it.
