Anyway to make chalice dungeons more fun?
Treat this part of the game as an Spectacle Fighter, make your fights and weapon usage as amusing as possible.
Friends help a lot too.
>>337946165
I find that exploring them with a friend is fun, especially if you're both slogging through the first few dungeons to get to the FRC Depth 5 chalices. Grinding for top tier gems is also a lot faster if you co-op with a buddy because you'll have two chances to get a decent gem.
Any items in this game increase your ability to withstand physical attacks? I'm on the chalice dungeon version of blood starved beast, and while the fight itself is really easy because BSB has really easily parryable attacks and I can just throw the jars of blood at him, it takes one hit to kill me. My health or whatever the stat is is only at like 30 and I don't know if this matters, but my stamina and strength are about 10.
>>337946165
Literally cant be done. After a few of them you'll realize that there are only about 4 rooms that are regurgitated again and again.
Important part of what makes Souls game fun is the overworld, there's nothing like that in the chalice dungeons.
>>337946563
Leveling automatically adds defense, plus clothing. I dont play chalice dungeons so I dont know, but vit 30 is doable in non-chalice end-game. Its easier tot have 40 tho.
>but my stamina and strength are about 10
So youre playing a dex build? Why the fuck didnt you invest in END(stamina)? What level are you?
>>337947021
Level 108
I've only focused on skill and bloodtinge all game.
>>337947152
Shit brah, for dex builds, endurance is paramount. How many times can you hit before youre out of stamina? Besides that, if youre using weapons that scale well with skill+BT, you should be okay. I guess he's just hard. If I remember correctly though, he should be weak to fire. Are you using fire paper? What level are your weapons?
Post em if you got em brothers

>>337946165
No. You just turn your brain off until you reach the last chalice were all the good gems are.
>>337947974
Thanks anon. Was just testing it out since I just converted it to webm. Wanted to see if it played correctly.
Make every boss in the game+DLC appear as random chalice dungeon bosses.
>>337946165
They should have made chalice dungeon progress shared between characters so you don't need to go through the same fucking 30 dungeons every time you make a fresh character.
>>337947809
what level are you in this webm?
I tend to have something in the background to listen to, like a podcast or a LP or something.
Also post Hunters.
>>337947809

Kill Maria and you buy it from the Insight vendor.
Didn't know about it until like, a night or two ago myself, just got around to playing the DLC recently.
>>337948795
I want to play with other people and explore shit.
Are they randomly generated or something?
>>337948417
Level 80. Was trying to challenge myself. I would run from the place where you first wake up all the way to the where you fight rom without getting hit once or I would use a lamp and go back and start over.
I was basically training and Since I beat all the bosses except for Old hunters ones I was free to just run around basically. It was a new character I started just for Old Hunters and I was kind of rusting after having not played for so long.
Dont mind me, just the best boss experience in BB coming through.
>>337948648
The helmet is from the cainhurst armor. Loved it to pieces, the torso is rubbish though. I found it works best when you swap the torso for the executioner one. The rest is the maria one I think.
>>337948045
I unironically love the Micolash fight because it's obviously inspired by the final fight in Blade Runner.
>>337949089

the ones that don't are set
I used to not like chalice dungeons but i've opened up to them. I agree doing the earlier ones suck but doing co-op makes them more fun

In terms of vanilla BB, I enjoyed Gehrman the most.
I mean, just listen to his theme.

>>337949203
I really REALLY like Amelia!
>>337949408

>>337949814
Gerhman was underwhelming for me. Dont know why, maybe because he was kinda easy and didnt have interesting moves or backstory.
Loved the amelia fight becausee of the setting, but especially because her screams fucking terrified me.
>>337949814
I died to Gehrman more than my other deaths in BB combined, fucker put me through some real challange because i could neither parry or backstab when i got to him and my damage was shit
Not my favorite boss but has a special place in me, caused me to git gud at the game
I never played BB and have no interest in a PS4. What's the lore about? I heard some people in DS3 threads mention that it's got a lot of water motifs and Aldrich's dream of an Age of Deep Seas could be a reference to BB.

You're a foreigner who goes to a Victorian-styled town to find a cure for a disease you've been inflicted with (I think?). This Victorian town, which is called Yharnam has a strange obsession with blood. Blood transfusions is a type of drug and pretty much the entire population is addicted. Apparently some bad blood gets passed around and people begin turning into beasts. You have to survive one night in this town where the population is slowly turning into beasts which make typical werewolves look like puppies. And then aliens appear.

In Bloodborne's world theres a church that created a type of blood that can heal any sickness or injury. But something happened and caused some of that blood to curse the people and turn them into beasts.
You become a beast hunter, and kill whatever caused that curse.
That's the main story.
also in Bloodborne's world "Old gods" are worshiped. The Old Gods are like the ones in Lovecraftian mythos.

Haven't played in a while, but I'll try and sum it up:>race of superhumans known as Pthumerians come into contact with the Great Ones and discover the "eldritch Truth"
>many years later, the city of Yharnam is built upon the remains of their labyrinths
>scholars discover the ruins, and soon after discover the Great Ones and their blood, which is a cure-all for humans
>the church devotes an entire place of learning to the research of the blood and the Great Ones
>turns out the blood has adverse effects on humans, turning them into beasts
>Willem, an important figure in Yharnam, urges the church to "fear" the blood because it has adverse properties
>Laurence, the first Vicar of Yharnam, does not heed Willem's warning, and thus distributes blood freely to Yharnamites
>Yharnamites become addicted because the blood gives a better buzz than alcohol
>Yharnamites becomes beasts
>in response to this, the church creates a workshop with which to fashion weapons and the like and trains their members to hunt down any Yharnamites who've turned
>then there's you, an outsider come to Yharnam for "blood administration"
>you sign a contract
>doctor puts you under
>you wake up in an empty clinic
>everything's going to shit
There's obviously a lot more to it than this, but I hope that kinda gives you the jist of the story.

If you want it sooner, you can kill the guy who has it whenever you see him. He's the only character in the DLC who talks to your normally, you find him by the shortcut before Ludwig, in Ludwig's room after the fight, and also right up that elevator you're talking about.

I took Loran to be a substitute for Africa. The "sands of Loran" could either be a reference to Arabia or Africa, both have significance to Lovecraft's lore. So how's the online on this game? I haven't played it in months after finishing the DLC.
Been to busy being disappointed by dark souls 3 that I want to go play some bloodborne, but kinda of a shame if the Online portion is bad.
>>337968380
I imagine the online is dead since 3 just released.

>>337968659
Yeah, that's what I'm afraid off.
I've done two playthroughs of Dark souls 3, but it's just so boring, compared to Bloodborne. 3 installments in the same universe with the same rehash of weapon and armor really gets you..
Bloodborne is how FromS should be doing things, new universe and style each time. Makes the experience much more refreshing and enjoyable.
Oh well, I'll jump on BB tomorrow after work and I'll see how it goes.

So /v/, what's up with the snakes? We've got a pretty good idea about the lore behind the beasts, the undead, the kin, the insect things, the slug things and the fish things, but then there's just a bunch of snakes for no reason.
Why are there giant snakes in the woods and the hintertombs? Why are some people just full of snakes? Has it got anything to do with great one blood, or is it an entirely unrelated snake apocalypse happening at the same time as the great one blood apocalypse?

I literally cannot bring myself to wear outfit elements that are from different sets, but maybe that's just my autism. It's just so much more satisfying wearing the proper outfits and creating a story about how your hunter is from that group.
>>337969141
Lot of theories say that the snakes are a form of vermin. But yes, they do feel weirdly out of place. Vermin is the only logical conclusion I can come to. It'd explain why Valtr is there in the woods.
>>337970630
Yeah, but who's responsible for the snakes? We see or hear about the great ones responsible for every other strain of the blood.
The Shadows of Yharnam seem to be guards for the Queen, but they're full of snakes for some reason. The other Pthumerians are bloody/fiery undead things, not balls of snakes on legs.
>>337971761
If you're autistic for that (and maybe you are) then so am I. I do the same shit. Games are more fun if you use your imagination, what can I say?

I see ya got throwing knives out. What are they even for? They don't do a lot of damage and they're too slow to hit anything that ain't stationary. Really they only seem like they'd be used in very limited circumstances, like you're out of bullets or something.
Is there a particular way that one should be levelling up? I'm on my first run-through of the game, and upgrading Str, End, and Vit fairly evenly, though occasionally putting an extra point into Str.
Is that the proper way?
>>337972587
But the fun part for others to watch is the glitch, just because you can tap R1 and L1 along with Circle doesn't make everyone else want to watch it.
Also experiment with CFR value on Variable bitrate on webms, rid yourself of the antsize, I promise you won't regret it.

Sprint for half of the spell's duration, roll at the end.
Alternatively, if you use the kirkhammer with bolt hammer and lay down some charged R2's you can take Rom down to around 1/3 of his HP or less and skip his second phase. In his third phase he'll use other attacks and not just ice spells, so that could help.
Has the downside of summoning every single spider wave at once though.
>>337974532
You're going to start finding reusable items that require some Arcane to use, and 15 is enough to use a bunch of them.
>>337974729
Cool, sounds good. As soon as I reclaim my echoes from those snake-headed cunts, I'll start levelling my Arcane.

>>337973738
The wheel is unbelievably good, but it shines brightest in tricked form on a str/arc quality build.
>>337970392
You get it from a badge you get from Alfred. You can either complete his quest line (which is fairly simple, just say you want to co-operate with him, talk to him before moving on to Forbidden Woods and give him the Unopened Summons item) or you can just kill him. Although fighting him at certain points will make him NOT drop the badge, so I recommend just doing his quest.
I think you need 20 strength, 10 arcane and 15 skill? Something like that.
It's an interesting weapon that mostly draws from the strength and arcane stats. Mostly strength for one handed form and arcane for two handed. It's a slow weapon like the kirk hammer and it's capable of hitting really hard. Plus, the L2 on the two handed form is a buff that stacks on itself that boosts its power but will drain your HP. Interesting thing is that you can drain HP off people when you attack, even if there's no HP to recover via rally. If you hit hard and fast enough, you can counteract or at least slow down the HP drain while dishing out great damage.
That being said, most people prefer the chikage since it's faster and safer to use.
How good is the Burial Blade?

>>337953690
How does it feel to never be able to rate the Souls series because you haven't played all of them?
>>337975228
I do wanna start putting points into arcane eventually. It's just that I'm in my 80s and levelling up is getting expensive. Plus my favourite weapon is the kirkhammer, which is pretty much a strength only weapon so there isn't a lot of incentive to put points into anything that isn't STR, END or VIT.
I know most stats get terrible after 50, so I was thinking I might start shoving shit into ARC after I get 30-35 END and 50 STR and VIT.
The high END is because the hammer eats a ton of stamina.
I've been ignoring bloodtinge so it's sitting at a paltry 6. I hardly ever use firearms except for the cannon, and I just threw some bloodstones on it until it shot up to 300+ attack. Even with my shit bloodtinge it deals out a decent amount of damage. Plus, my skill is pretty low (15? 16?) and viscerals do less than a nice hammer to the face. Plus bloodtinge is mostly for firearms anyway.
I hear arcane can be good but you need a LOT of points into it. It makes me wonder why you'd even bother. It's mostly for hunter tools right? The only arcane weapons I know of is Kos Parasite and Logarius Wheel, but the wheel has an S in strength at lv.10 so you could just go pure musclehead with it.
>>337976710
You can make any weapon scale with arcane using gems.
>>337971449
Oh, that happened to me too a while ago. But then she killed me with some attack that went through the wall.
If my highest stats are sitting in their twenties, is it too late to start investing in other stats like Arcane or Bloodtinge?
>>337976783
Oh, really? I might of missed that since I'm doing a strength build and dismissed arcane out of hand when it came to gems. That could be pretty useful then. That being said...
....How are you going to get those gems on an arcane build? You don't get good (almost any) arcane gems until way later in the game. You'd basically have to do a strength/arcane build while hoping every point you put into ARC instead of STR is worth it in the end.
>>337972179
>>337976035
well this is as good as its gonna get
dont eat me pls
>>337977169
Not too late, but it depends on how much you're investing. Like, boosting ARC to 15 would be a good idea since that's required to use certain items. Similarly, raising Bloodtinge high enough to use certain weapons might not be a bad idea either.
But I wouldn't try to do more than that. If your main stats are at like, 25, I wouldn't bother trying to make your lesser stats catch up. It's going to get too expensive and you'll suffer for it.
>>337971761

>>337977523
Eh, the bone ash set has good stats though. Good physical, fire and bolt. That's the more common attacks right there. If someone is going arcane they're almost always going to use Kos Parasite so you really only need to get used to that one weapon.
It IS edgy as fuck though.
Right now I think I'm wearing something like:
Cainhurst helmet
Executioner chest
Tomb prospector pants
I forget the gloves. Maybe Yhargul?
I just tried to give me a decent set of stats for everything, really. The only time I'll wear a full set of one armor is if I know exactly what's ahead. Like, the white church set for the Forbidden Woods because fuck all that poison..
Basically I just wear what I think will make me survive longer.
What are your favourite weapons? I love the kirkhammer myself. It's got some glaring issues (super slow, limited range, drains stamina quickly) but I love how hard it hits and how it stuns almost anything for another hammer to the face. A well timed R2 will knock down just about anything, or at least stun it enough for another R2. For example, you can stun lock undead giants in chalice dungeons with charged R2s. You can even keep doing it until it becomes vulnerable to visceral attacks.
With the kirkhammer, once you land the first hit you've almost won.

Well Evelyn does more damage and scales with bloodtinge better, and IMO looks way cooler.
Been using the repeating pistol too, which is good for low bloodtinge, and also looks cooler than the standard, but goddamn does it tear through bullets quick.
>>337980873
Not him but while Maria was a cool duel she was way too easy. The only difficulty in her fight game from 'le ebin 1 shot fire blod lazr'.
>implying I ever level up anything but Strength
I dont get Arcane or Bloodtinge. Whats the fucking point
I actually really enjoyed chalice dungeons up until the enemies started scaling out of control and took more than 3 hits to kill and did over half my health (which was over 1400HP) in one hit.
Really the best way to fix them would be to just make them co-op for free. going through randomly generated dungeons with other people would add a lot of replay value to the game.
>>337980346
I like the blunderbuss because it has more horizontal range. It's not an issue on big bosses or slow enemies but for quicker enemies I can sometimes tag'em with some of the bullets.
I love the cannon though. It's like a projectile charged R2. It's great for finishing a fight, when you're probably close to death and outta vials.
I understand that Evelyn is basically "the pistol, but stronger" or something?
>>337980346
Evelyn is the same exact thing but with more damage and faster fire rate.
>>337981449
Arcane is fun as fuck. You get to use tentacles, ayysplosions, laser cannons, and still get comparable damage to STR/SKL builds with ARC/flame/bolt gems.
You get a fuck ton more options fampai.
>>337981449
Bloodtinge is mostly for firearms but some weapons do use it. Mostly for fire arms though. Some of them like the repeating pistol and evelyn can hit super fucking hard with a good bloodtinge build. I haven't used it myself but I hear the weapons with guns with them as a second form are similar.
Arcane is pretty shit to begin with but gets stronger and stronger as you level it up. It makes hunter tools pretty damn powerful and you can use gems to convert any weapon into an arcane one that feeds off your arcane stat. Plus, the Kos Parasite weapon hits S rank in arcane pretty early on so it becomes amazing for arcane builds. It has good reach too, so it's no surprise it's a fairly popular weapon.
>>337980346
If you can get used to the delay, the blunderbuss is better for PvP and hunter battles because of its spread.
Also, dont believe >>337981197 on the evelyn thing. It only scales better after 21 or so bloodtinge, before that, pistol is better.
>>337980618
>you just have a thing for beasts

>>337980915
It's the multiplayer, which takes place in the single-player levels. You can "invade" other peoples campaign and fight with them. And when you invade, you cannot be hurt by the AI enemies, but the host can. In this case, its probably a co-op gone wrong, and the guy got killed by a regular enemy while the invader just watched.
>>337982123
>>337982115

>>337981973

No, pistol has more damage than evelyn on low bloodtinge. Only when you have 20 BT and more does the evelyn make sense to use.

They might be the Pthumerian version of vermin, while the centipedes are the Loran version of vermin, but then you'd expect bosses like pthumerian elder would have some kind of snake powers.
>>337982285
Do it, I'm running one now after I just finished up my first run, and it's a ton of fun.
I'd reccomend going into chalice dungeons ASAP so you can get some gems that scale with ARC, as well as getting tonitrus pretty quick, even if you don't intend on using it all the way through
>>337982285
The problem with arcane is that it's a pain to build up. Until you start getting arcane weapons/gems the stat is completely useless.
Look at >>337977625 . You only get the first gems after killing Blood Starved Beast, which is a decent chunk through the game. Plus it requires you to tackle chalice dungeons and hoping you get the shit you need.
Like, arcane is strong and all but it doesn't seem worth it.
Man, why is it so hard to get a good looking BB female? In Dark souls I got a result I was pretty happy with after a couple of minutes, but in BB. It's all just so derpy.
How can I adjust the eye shape? Cheek bones doesn't change them nearly enough.
>>337979947
Arcane based builds use very little stamina so all you really need at the very most is like 20. I did just fine with 16. Arcane builds mosty use Parasite, Cane, and the SaifCleaverSpear, with rare exceptions being Ludwig's and very rare exceptions being the holy moonlight sword, blades of mercy/burial blade and Wheel (and these weapons are really more for quality builds for the most part). Every other weapon just has better STR/SKL scailing

>>337983238
You only have to beat 1 boss to get to BSB. That's hardly a decent chunk out the game.
Everything about BB was great except PvP. With that netcode and the concept of "who can quick step and blood vial the longest" made it lacking in so many ways.
>>337983938

>>337985026
It is when you're doing an arcane build so the only strength/skill you have is what you started with. You're doing the same damage output against stronger enemies. You're not putting too much into END either, so the vast majority of your stats is probably going into ARC and VIT. In other words fighting anything is going to be a huge slog and a giant pain.
>>337985141

>>337985492
Gascoigne is also the EASIEST boss to cheese. All you need is the threaded cane, use the graves for his first two phases and then the tree in the back. Then you can do BSB, who is also the easiest boss in the game and DONE you can now be the arcane master.
>>337985674
Well, not exactly. Now you can start actually getting the shit you need to begin the arcane build. You still need to slog through the chalice dungeons one by one to get all the gems you need and even if you can cheese it the damn thing is still going to be a pain. Plus you still need all the hunter tools as well.
I'm not saying arcane is a bad build or anything but you shouldn't make it sound easier to pull off than it really is. It's just going to make people give up when they realise it's a longer process than anticipated.
Plus, easiest boss is Rom. Don't even worry about the one hit kill headbutt spiders, just run circles around Rom until all the spiders are far away enough that you can get some uninterrupted hits in.

>tfw Rom took me 40 tries until I turned off my brain and just killed spiders an ran from his blizzard
I was just being impatient he really is the easiest
>>337986394
Impatience really is a huge killer in this game. I found that every boss I had trouble with became a lot easier after taking a break and actually thinking for a sec
I can't get into any of the chalice dingos on the docs sheet. What exactly do I need to make? Does making a single FRC of each type of Depth 5 chalice unlock everything?
>>337946563
> using blood
Just parry the fuck out of him you shitter
>>337985674
BSB is blood starved beast? How's he easy? Only fought him once so far but does he poison you no matter what you're doing near him?

There is literally no connection between bb des and das. References are exactly that.
>>337987443
He gets some kind of poison aura once he hits phase two, when he roars and that wet shit seems to splatter off him. Take lots of antidotes, really.
>>337952963
Except all of japan.
>>337987679
Gotcha thanks, I was afraid I was missing something retarded. Any other pointers? I have the axe and for some reason even extended I never seemed to be as close as I thought I was. Missed a lot.
>>337987787
I expect they said something like "Ko Su" and someone misheard it as "Kosm" or something.
>>337987907
They said desu
>>337987443
He literally cannot hit you ever if you do a dodge to the side for all of his attacks
>>337987902
Since you only can take 10 antidotes, I recommend trying to use them sparingly. A lot of his attacks poison, especially in phase two, so you want to make sure you have enough. Personally I'd recommend you only use them once you're actually poisoned and not just to remove poison build up.
He's pretty weak to fire so oil urns, fire paper and molotovs are your friend here. Chucking molotovs while he's roaring or skidding to a halt after a tackle charge is a good plan.
Try to dodge behind him and walk up close before swinging. A lot of his attacks move him forward, so maybe you need to be a bit closer than you think to make sure he doesn't accidentally move out of range.
Personally I used the kirkhammer with fire paper. The hammer is capable of stunlocking him for a bit and the fire really hurts. That being said, the hammer is NOT for everyone, it's pretty hard to use until you get used to it.
>>337981197
Repeating pistol does more damage than Evelyn at any level Bloodtinge. The S scaling on Evelyn just can't make up for the insane base damage RP does.

BT is literally for chikage and simon's memeblade. If you're doing it for gun damage youre retarded
I've been stuck at shadows of yarn-ham BL4 for too long

Should I just run through DLC in an attempt to get more chunks?

Parry tutorial: The Boss
>>337988889
So, you're saying the stat is for exactly two weapons? Who the fuck would even bother then?
>>337987907
His name is literally kosumu
t: have the JP version
>>337989087
Because they're both broken as fuck. Both scale of skill is their normal form and BT in transformed.
Oh, I forgot memeletter if you want to go str/bt which is also broken as fuck
>>337989078
You know, I never parried him myself. Not because I'm too good for it, it's more like I couldn't get the parry timing down when I first started the game and decided I wouldn't bother with it in the first 10 minutes of playing.
If anything, Logarius is the parry boss. I can't imagine killing him without it and he made me get fairly competent with parrying SUPER fast.
Fortunately, I love the hammer form of the kirkhammer. I'm totally used to not having a left hand weapon, except for the shield or torch and even then they aren't even weapons.
People look down on the shield but it's so useful. It's great if you're going up against snipers or fighting hunters with powerful guns like the Cainhurst Crow in Eileen's questline.
>>337989087
Go pure blt and minimum skl/str requirements for very strong transformed mode of chikage, bowblade and bloodletter.
skl/blt for chikage and bowblade to not suck dick in normal mode
str/blt for bloodletter and gatling gun (I'd also put the minmum skl requirement so you can use the other blt scaling weapons)
Is there a weapon-ranking list?
>>337989528
>>337989424
Everyone loves the chikage and I see it all the time in PvP. When I tried it out though, the results were pretty disappointing. It's not BAD, it's just not nearly as good as the hype led me to believe.
Of course, maybe you need a specific build for it but I can't really imagine why you'd bother suffering through the game to get to that point when you could of gone for a strength or strength/skill build and had much wider options. It's not like you get any good bloodtinge weapons early on or anything.
>>337989683
Every weapon is perfectly viable. Some might say X is marginalised or Y is OP but quite frankly you can use just about any weapon effectively.
Hell, if you go onto Youtube right now you can find people who are playing the game while using only guns, only torches and even only bare hands.
>>337949814
why is Gehrman the best boss fight in any vidya ever?

You can get simon's memeblade when you kill amelia.
> go to nightmare
> run to shortcut
> kill simon
Question.
All this talk of bloodtinge builds but no one has talked about the cannon?
It's stupidly powerful to begin with and with high bloodtinge you're going to basically oneshot anything that isn't a boss.
>>337989810
You can nearly one shot people with a well placed unzip and a strong blood damage gem, let alone three (but having three requires insane korean-tier farming)
>>337990034
You're going to have fun with maria and pthululul>>337990034
u elder then.
>>337990386

Second phase of Logarius is immune to bullets though
>haven't played in a long time
>gascione kicked my ass the last time i played
>dont like playing eery games taht are also difficult
does it get easier? the beginning area took me forever.
First time through the game, just beat Shadows of Yarnham tonight
What the fuck actually are chalice dungeons? I haven't touched them.
>>337990574
He's immune to stagger. You can still parry the fuck out of him though. Particularly his edgelord flying swoop
>>337990574
Not if you backstab him during the transistion to phase 2 animation.
I think any stagger (basically just Backstabs since he becomes immune to bullets) during the second phase will remove his "shield", but it's super easy to do it mid-transition.
>>337990709
Papa G is a massive difficulty jump
It doesn't get easier but you do get better.
Just summon if you can't do it yourself and don't care about doing it yourself
>>337990743
Korean grinding
>>337990574
What, when he switches to sword only mode? Can't be, that's when I started parrying him. Hell, his third phase is vulnerable too since I killed him with a visceral. If anything, it's the first phase that's the hardest to hit with bullets. Not because he's immune but because he's more likely to spam magic than swing his sword.
>>337990386
Not worth the bullet cost, desu, when Evelyn does the damage better for half the investment
>>337973369
Wilhelm was the one who took it literally
Bergenwyrth did everything wrong
>>337990743
They're optional dungeons you can take on. Rewards include more dungeons, materials to make more dungeons, different versions of weapons (the only thing that's different is the blood gem slots), great blood gems and seeing unique enemies/bosses.
It's not all bad though. Those materials can be farmed and sold at a good price. Those blood gems can be incredibly powerful as well. A bit of a slog getting through them but it's generally worth it.
Plus, some of them are randomly generated and if that's your thing it could be fun.
Unnecessary to do unless you're doing an arcane build, really.
>>337991390
Willem was the closest to being right, at least his methodology didn't cause the scourge of the beast.
