8/9 Great taste again, Klonoa and Lost Odyssey don't really get enough love. I've always had a hard time enjoying Chrono Trigger though, really need to re-play it to see if my opinion has changed.

Why not? It's one of the best survival horrors ever made.
Gameplay is fun and challenging (after chapter 1)
Sound effects are just perfect
The plot is really good and the mc solid
The atmosphere and scenery design are great. Every chapter has a different scenery and the exploration is rewarding
The safe place feel so relaxing
The only thing I'd improve are some animations, the puzzles, the IA and Tatiana dialogs.

I played a lot of the Smt series and I have to say for me, Devil Survivor 1 is the epitome of what the series should strive for. The mainline is challenging in terms of gameplay but the plot in most of them is so barebones, you lose interest before anything of subsistence happens. Persona has a few nice characters to keep you going in each game but most are easy as shit and not what one would call, SMT worthy. P2 is an exception where story was magnificent but gameplay was the shittiest I has ever had the unpleasure to play. DeSu 1 has it all, challenging gameplay that is fun to play, a nice story with characters you like besides three annoying pieces of shit, and Overclock is what p4 is to p3 gameplaywise.
Stella Glow is not the most original game and you have probably seen something like it before if you played the LA series before it but after 3 games, Stella Glow is the perfect example of a game from a company that improved each title in a series to its ultimate conclusion.All the characters are charming and you are generally invested in seeing how it ends. Gameplay is simple and tends to drag a bit but still a solid srpg.
For Tales it was a toss up between Xillia 1, Graces F, and X2.

I've been meaning to try out Sin and Punishment, thanks for the recommendation.
I only really like Shadow Dragon for thetone and stuffand I grew up with a MegaDrive so I have Sonic nostalgia from finishing them as a lil' babby, but I avoid revisiting them honestly.

I'm a pretty big Fire Emblem fan, so I can't say Shadow Dragon was completely awful, just felt really bland and uninteresting. The Radiance games and Conquest are my favourites in the series, just wish the newer games had less weeb stuff.
I get the nostalgia thing, Symphonia is my nostalgia game and I can still replay it, but I probably wouldn't like it as much if I picked it up for the first time today.
