>the cutscenes are interrupted by unskippable gameplay
>the game isn't all QTE's
>play games /v/ tells me I'm supposed to love
>constantly think how I could be reading a book instead of playing these games
>the entire game isn't a timed underwater escort mission
>>337890594
Disgusting.
>>337890594
I think I gagged reading that.

I kek'd, thanks OP
>game has no DRM at all
>game punishes me if I run through hazards
>>337890313
>The developers released an actual videogame instead of a movie disguised as a videogame
Let's be honest though. We've all played a game that was so tedious and uninspired that just watching the cutscenes would be preferable.
>>337890313
Fucking MSG4, Kojimbo is a hack.
>>337894571
Soul Reaver
>only best buy, gamestop, and walmart have unique preorder bonuses
>not target too
>>337894571
GrimGrimoire.
>the videogame is "too videogamey"
>>337892082
Whats so funny? Thats a legtimate complaint.
>>337894571
I'd rather watch the "movie mode" of Other M than actually play it again.
>walk down a fork in the road
>realise it's the correct way to go
>game actually allows me to backtrack the optional path
>boss fight
>have to play the game normally instead of a qte cutscene
>>337894571
MGSV ironically
>>337894571
Soul Sacrifice Delta for me. The gameplay itself was boring, I felt. I much preferred all the story and lore bits. I literally had more fun reading the backstories of the bosses than fighting them, for example.
I want them all to be printed out into a book.
TOP KEK
>>337890594
>the entire game isn't
That's still way too much!
>the game tries to be a movie and "deep"
Just stop please
>Game has too many colors in it.

WH40K: Space Marine for me 2bh
>>337890313
>>the cutscenes are interrupted by unskippable gameplay
I know that feel.
>Game isn't realistic.
>the """game""" has no microtransactions
>>337896793
>tfw gameplay now has gotten so bad in most games I actually agrees with Hamburger Helper
I seriously need to get the fuck out of this hobby. Maybe start reading books again.
>>337896793
Some games do this already though, kinda. Like, some turn based games have an auto function. It may or may not work very well but it's there and god knows you'd just be clicking [Fight] over and over anyway.
I wouldn't use it against or boss or anything but if you're just grinding against trash mobs then why not?
>>337896793
>Underlining almost half the text
Why you do this?
>game thanks you for playing at the end
>>337897338
I genuinely like it when a game does that.
>>337896793
and every game that has implemented this has been better because of it.
>The framerate jumps to over 30 fps and ruins the cinematic atmosphere
>>337897486
>I don't enjoy video games
Yeah I mean we're on /v/ so that's redundant.
>game doesn't show every button you have to press on screen in order to proceed
>game has secrets
>you can miss content on your first playthrough if you just follow the main quest instructions
God damn I didn't pay money to be denied content and who even plays games a second time in 2016?
>>337897916
Man, them SoulsBorne games are pretty terrible at this. All of their NPC quests are pretty bullshit and you either need to NG+ multiple times to figure it out or just look up a godddamn guide. It's easy to miss out on stuff because you didn't kill this boss soon enough, or maybe you did it too soon, or you explored too much and saw something you weren't supposed to get to yet or whatever.
>Getting a level up doesn't restore hp&mp
