I liked the overall theme, execution, and arena. The Crippletron phase was a bit aggravating because I couldn't get the timing right on my dodges for that soul spear, but I only wound up dying like twice before I got it. I beat most of the game's bosses with minimal effort and I was baffled by how many phantoms people were summoning when I put down my sign.
I think the fight was made more stressful by using Yhorm's machete. I made big hits but since I went in without a shield because equipping it gave me fat rolls, I had to focus mostly on dodging.

Just fought them using a Greatshield in NG+++. Felt really cheap because you can just walk around and hit Lothric.
