What's the best PC Controller that isn't from a Console?
steam controller maybe

Do you even know bro or are you just trollin' me
>>337855927
I think so, people are generally satisfied with it
What is the general best controller anyway?
>>337857551
The xbone controller is pretty great, although I need to press pretty hard for my Dpad to register down, it's always been that way.

I've heard that Logitech controllers are alright
What's wrong with console controllers? Sony and Microsoft put way more R&D into their controllers since they ship tens of millions of them, and a good controller can be a selling point for consoles anyways.

I just can't decide between the ds4 or the xbone controller..
>>337854883
I've got that controller in OP's pic.
It's not terrible for the price I paid.

I'm not sure what the DS4 controller has going for it, I really only used it for a few minutes to play Dark Souls on my friends laptop over a year ago. The xbone controller is better if you don't want to fuck around with 3rd party driver shit

I mean, try both and find which you prefer. I like the DualShock personally but the Xbox controllers have driver support.

This. I've had 2 logitech controllers and have abused them for years, they still perform flawlessly. They're not expensive either.

You need to lower your expectations. "Best" doesn't exist. Hasn't since the company behind the majority market share OS entered the console market. You're going to get an xbox controller, even if you don't buy one. Why? Because they can simply remove support for anything else. Oh, did I say can? I meant HAVE. You don't need to actually lock your software to specific hardware if you simply make it only able to support its specific features. Thanks, xinput.
I can't believe /v/ lied to me about the Steam Controller. This thing is baller.
First controller I've used that doesn't suck

Steam controller is the best controller in general.
Prove me wrong.
Pro tip; You can't.
>>337854883
Xbone controller for Windows.

Always do the opposite of what /v/ tell you.
If I'm not using the Xbox 360 controller or Mouse + Keyboard then I'll likely use the steam controller.
It's not perfect but it has a few niches where it's really handy. I love using it for Witcher 3.
