I hate fishing with a burning passion, and country culture in general. I've done enough fishing to last a lifetime.

you swing the rod back and forth, somewhere between 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock to keep the fishing line in the air as you gradually add more line to make it longer. then when you have it just long enough you swing the the rod forward as you would a spinner and let the line and fly gently land on the surface.

All SNES fishing games are both comfy as hell and suck ass. Can't snag a fish, real life strats don't work, the oceans are almost always empty, just frustrating.

Apparently you used to be able to catch bass as well but their numbers have dwindled and their migration patters shifted.
