Hey, /v/, how comes there are youtubers who get a shit ton of views, likes etc. just for making pack opening videos? Like, they pay money for those packs and film themselves while they open them, what's entertaining about that? I heard about an italian youtuber who spent like 700€ on Clash Royale, a fucking mobile game, for a single fucking pack opening video.

>tfw you can afford 700€ of gems
People are idiots. There are people who watch people just opening CS:GO crates. Not even playing the game.

kids cant afford it and enjoy the reactions of the likes of "Black Fifa Man" when he gets the sicketst cards in the WORLD for his ultimate team.
>valve is the reason everyone does this random item bullshit in their games
I'm sorry.I never bought a key for a crate, but I did buy the orange box in 2008

I get this kind of reasoning for gameplay videos. Kids can't afford the game, they watch other people playing it. I don't like it, but I'm ok with it. But this seems more like someone watching someone else getting drunk to see the effects instead getting drunk themselves, and furthermore these are DIGITAL "objects" it's even worse than pokemon card pack openings beacuse AT LEAST the cards are real, tangible, valuable in some way.
