Everyone knows Miyazaki and various Souls games
Yoko Taro and Drakengard/Nier, even more of a madman than Kojima
I can go on forever like this
Western games arent like this anymore and thats a problem
They used to be-Carmack and Romero were responsible for Doom and Quake, Schafer and the other guys at LucasArts etc etc
It isnt like that anymore in triple A gaming, only in the indie market - Toby Fox and Undertale and so on...

More like amateur.
He's got some neat little gameplay ideas but he prides himself on the writing, yet he hasn't realised that people only like it because it's so cheesy, hype and ridiculous.
