The game is great, even on normal difficulty the game can give a smal challenge so I'm sure the 3 other difficulties will offer a good time. I don't think its worth the price considering it ships with a shitty multiplayer. Just get it for 30 bucks and you'll have a really good sp fps games with great level design. All of the Covenant did. It was a cool aspect of Halo 2 that came with giving the Covenant actual roles as characters. From what I gathered those Night Sentinel guys areactually not related to Doomguy very much. They were the protectors of the Elemental Wraith, which are the scary six armed skeletons holding the orbs that power The Well™ in the last level. They came from some alternative universe/realm that got conquered by Hell. From the looks of it, them and Doomguy teamed up and enjoyed jolly cooperation once Doomguy decided to spend the rest of eternity killing demons. The demon lore page on Doomguy has one in the background with a sword.
Why they are only encountered as green ghosts I have no idea, probably because they are all dead as a huge ass time passed since Doomguy was imprisioned in the temple.
