Just sat down and played New Vegas for the first time in a long while, whilst watching The Good the bad and the ugly. Absolutely based. Decided to really get in to the role-play and not loot every corpse. going to play more tomorrow, haven't seen fist full of dollars II yet so imma do that
>tfw this plays when I finish of a bandit leader with my weathered 10-mil

New Vegas thread?also Tuco is the best underdog and the real star of the movie
common guys. please? i fucken love being a cowboy/ massmurderering guy with positive karma because wasteland Injuns aka "raiders" aren't real people anyway

You watched a movie and played a video game at the same time?
only way to play
>>337631215
>fist full of dollars ii
You mean a few dollars more? Pleb ass honkry
anybody else pick both Anarchist and Sneering Imperialist traits? Cause fuck everybody. Went with a strength/guns cowboy, low int/char but im still going to invest a bunch in speech for those snappy comebacks

Multitasking but not impossible
>>337632731
no U
>>337632725
this guy knows what's good. The most cowboy faction to go with gotta be NCR right?
>>337631215
Has there ever been an RPG as fucking based as New Vegas?
>Character creator allows you to make everything from preppy tween girl to old weathered grandpa
>Good sex options for both straight and fag players in either gender
>those sassy as fuck dialogue options
>Good story
>GOAT DLC
>you can be a motherfucking cowboy
>you can be a motherfucking roman centurion
>you can be a motherfucking hulkbuster armor Iron man if you're a BoS pussy
>You can choose to let anyone rule the world including seizing it all for yourself
>You can kill Benny with his own gun.
Good lord I love New Vegas.
My first run was old as fuck white dude like a day from retirement as a courier looking to just get it over with that fought with revolvers and dynamite. Second run I played a gay spanish conquistador who used energy weapons and melee weapons.
So far I've done House and NCR endings, might do a Roman run on my next character, a latina milf.

Caesar's Legion sucks in the game though. Makes me sad. Probably the only chance we'll get to play anything like it in a post apocalyptic RPG.
I don't have time to contribute to this thread, but I'll help bump it because I love New Vegas
Are you watching that Clint Eastwood marathon, Anon?
>>337631215
Tuco was a brilliantly written character, and his entire arc is lovely, but let's not kid ourselves here. The Man With No Name is the biggest fucking badass in western movie history, and he stole the show in every movie he was in, including this one.
>>337634051
>romancenturion latina milf
I like it
I had a genocidal run when I decided to pick up Veronica and it changed my entire play through
suddenly I'm a terrible man taking care of a young naive girl who slowly finds out what a monster I am. one of my favourite characters ever.
>>337634356
netflix
>>337634513
Oh fuck yes. Clint Eastwood is my favourite actor ever. I hope he lives forever.
>>337634292
I always disliked them on principle, but a strength/bully run seems like such a funny backdrop while playing a busty, chubby, latina milf that I have to do it.
>>337634669
That sounds pretty awesome though, like a psychological thriller.
>You're her only friend in a world of monsters, madmen, and other normal people
>but you yourself are the real monster
>when she realizes this, will she flee, fight, or forgive you?
It's like TLoU but without the walking/climbing simulation, QTEs, and retarded bullet limits.
>>337632731
>a few dollars more
It's For a Few Dollars More you dune coon.
Spaghetti Westerns are great OP. You should expand beyond the Dollars Trilogy.
>>337634513
>The Man With No Name is the biggest fucking badass in western movie history
>>337636237
please advise. never been much into film. the only other western I've really watched is Dead Man. almost criminal, I know.
>>337634292
>Probably the only chance we'll get to play anything like it in a post apocalyptic RPG.
The Walking Dead did something similar later on with The Kingdom. Shit's in the mainstream.
>>337631215
The Dollars trillogy is fucking GOAT, like all spaghetti westerns
try "Once upon a time in the west" so you dont think all good westerns have to have Clint Eastwood.
>>337636761
Well, the other Sergio Leone stuff is a good start, particularly Once Upon a Time in the West and Duck, You Sucker. There's also Once Upon a Time in America, the third movie in that trilogy, but it's not a Western.
Then there's Sergio Corbucci. Most of his are good. His most legendary one is the original Django. His best is The Great Silence, one of the best Westerns ever made.
Then move onto the trilogy by Sergio Sollima, the third Sergio. The Big Gundown, Run Man Run, and Face to Face.
Others:
Death Rides a Horse
If You Meet Sartana, Pray for Your Death
Sabata
Django Kill... If You Live, Shoot!
Those are a good start for spaghettis.
I know I need Finesse, Light Touch, Better Criticals, Grunt, and The Professional perks for a SMG build but what else? My end game gun is going to be the .45 SMG

>He's not even pleb enough to have seen Django Unchained.
i mean, it's entry level race baiting shit by a wigger foot fetishist, but it's pretty comfy
if you have time, original 60's Django is pretty groovy.
How the West was won is a bit long, but it's one of the most defining western movie of the genre.
mainly because it's so fucking long, everyone gave up and went on to rewatching Eastwood's Dollars trilogy
>>337636761
>>337637406
Lo Chiamavano Trinita and its sequel are pretty good too albeit a little less serious.
hey do you guys think i have a copy of the good, the bad and the ugly laying around?
>>337637570
Tarantino has oddly great taste in spaghetti Westerns in spite of his own movies sucking.
>>337637406
I like you, mate
>>337637815
I was actually going to suggest They Call Me Trinity, but didn't for whatever reason.
Good movie, though for campy ones, I still prefer Sabata and My Name is Nobody.
>>337637836
it's hard to go wrong with spaghetti westerns imo.
they all have their own charms
>>337638061
>he didnt suggest They Call me Trinity or Trinity is still my name right away
shameful m8
You watching Sundance too?
I love that movie
>>337638197
What I should have done is just suggested the Hill/Spencer movies in general.
