Fates' script is basically completely changed. Not in a censorship way, just the localization team are egotistical fucks that think "localizing" means completely changing it. When people called them out on this, they said that as localizers they have a responsibility to make adjustments to appeal to a Western audience.
There's an undub version that's a much more accurate translation, and it's extremely different from the official one, to the point that the meaning of entire scenes is changed around, some of them aren't even the same subject at all, entire lines of dialogue are replaced with elipses, it's just awful all around and the localizers are delusional about what their role in the development process is.
