See, that mentality right there. It's literally fucking artificial comedy; Pure peer pressure rather than actual humor. There's this notion that you should find it funny just because it's everywhere. Humor is subjective, but I don't see how anyone can see something repeated over and over is funny.
A torture method that is used is to blast repeated music into someone's cell at full volume. It's just music at first, if loud music. But imagine every waking moment being the same sound over and over.

at no point is humor involved. in this case, the laughter is simply a learned social behavior, as opposed to a genuinely involuntary response to finding something funny. humor relies on surprise, and "memes" are never surprising.
