I know it's an unpopular opinion here you niggers dickride obsidian, but it's the truth.
I tried really hard to like KotOR 2 after really liking KotOR, but it was half ass and had a pretty shit plot that didn't even respect its source material and didn't belong in it's universe.
I tried really hard to like New Vegas, (not that I like Fallout 3, honestly New Vegas is the only Fallout game I've ever tried playing), but it was just so bad.
I got to Vegas itself and just got fucking bored and quit. The plot just didn't engage me or compel me to continue to find out anything and with the exception of the Guy who was convinced he was a ghoul and the ghouls that wanted to go to space questline, there was just nothing interesting in the game, the "HOWDY PARDNER" shit annoyed me, the landscape was boring as fuck (and I'm coming from Elder Scrolls games which I really enjoyed exploring in)
It was so bad that I won't play any other fallout games.
Dungeon Siege 3 was on my computer for all of about 2-3 days before I uninstalled it, and PoE.. I liked it better when it was called Divinity: Original Sin.

D:OS made me believe Turn based combat systems could still be good, after I'd had at the time thought they were pointless in this day and age where everything can be simulated in real time and yet still separate character skill and player skill adequately enough to be considered an RPG.
D:OS had a level of tactics to it that could not have just been done in real time, it actually NEEDED turn based gameplay for its combat depth to be appreciated properly.
Very few games outside of the strategy genre can justify turn based gameplay as well as D:OS did.

I hated Kreia and her shitty monologues. I hated the edgy "wound in the force" bullshit. I hated them trying to treat the Force as if it was something that could be hurt or killed.
KotOR 1 scripted itself to be like a hollywood movie.
KotOR 2 scripted itself as a bad attempt at classical Russian literature. Too often Obsidian tries to write too highbrow and the dialogue comes off as "nobody talks like that"

Just because it offers a differing opinion or point of view of the source material doesn't mean it's shit. And claiming the plot is half-assed is simply incorrect, they are so many facets and details of the story that people still discover to this day. It wasn't until a few years after the game was released that people made the connection that Kreia was Arren Kae as well as the Handmaiden's mother.
On top of that the combat was a massive fucking improvement from KoTOR and did just about everything better in the area of gameplay.

But Ventrue are good for both, Presence and Fortitude are both great in that regard. They were modeled after knights and shit like that. Although in modern nights only the Sabbat Ventrue actually follow the whole knight and honor thing that old Ventrues used to.
