Better combat and more rewarding exploration. There weren't really good things you could find in the original one. Like the 3 worlds where parts of the town went missing were great, had secret bosses and were fucking huge. But the town was shit, there were just some gems. The other thing I really disliked was the color scheme of the game but that was already fixed in the trailers.
