Not being used for eight years doesn't really help, let alone not making it into any spin-offs/side games or have special mentions somewhere else, assuming that any substantial mentions don't exist. At one point, I figured waiting for a new Wario game would get her back again in some manner, but yeah, no new Wario game.
Only time will tell what happens, but it doesn't seem to be in Syrup's favor at the moment, especially with Nintendo not knowing how to utilize their large library of characters. We're lucky to even see the Mario characters we do now.
