GTA V sales are way more impressive because the game still sells for $40 on every platform. Even the PC version sold more than 2 million the first month or so which is pretty damn good imo.

PS4 sold 18.5 million units its first 12 months so by the time Bloodborne came out it was probably in the 22-24 million range.

I agree, it is a success and the sales with the DLC have probably improved further. Not every game needs to be GTA V or Call of Duty to be a success.
Also given how many assets they reuse with each game, I imagine their games don't really cost that much to make.
