Gotta be honest that it looks pretty good. My only real concern is that they might go completely overkill on style. There's a limit on how many bells and whistles and wacky fonts you can throw on everything before it starts blurring together and losing its punch.
If it can keep the 'real world' fairly grounded then I think they're on decent footing. Narratives need those slow moments with more mundane concerns.

Yeah the UI is a bit much. I'm more interested with how they handle the real world. Persona 3 and 4 did a decent job of keeping the player hopping between the mundane and supernatural so that neither got tiring. I don't see how you can make that claim based of a trailer, designed to be flashy and attract people to the game. Based on the small snippets of actual gameplay we've seen it looks to have increased complexity with additional elements to attacks, baton changes, guns as well as physical attacks.
And yes, stylish is better. If it was at the expense of good gameplay then it would be a problem but that has not been the case so far.

Persona dubs are genereally decent but there's always a few that are absolutley terrible. Chie have a horrible voice in both versions of P4. P3 have several characters like Fuuka who's voice work is pathetic. Naoto doesn't sound like a boy at all in P4. Atlus USA also reuse the same voice actors for all their games, I'm certain P5 will have the same voice actors as P3 and P4, just like P4 had several reused voice actors from P3(Kanji's mom is Aigis for example) and Catherine also reused pretty much the entire cast from P3 and P4. It takes you out of the game when you hear the same voices constantly. And don't even get me started on how they change voice actors between every spin-off.
