You're right. It's not funny. But for some reason whenever I see threads on these people they are usually completely devoid of criticism.
I watched this when I was a teenager, so I heard about the movie last year or so. So I thought I'd rewatch the series and wow its pretty bad. So I didnt bother watching the movie, even for nostalgia. I guess we didnt have a lot to pick or choose from at the time.

Apparently the TV series was one of the most successful shows Showcase has ever run, especially for a first season. It was cancelled because Showcase was bought out and the owners literally cancelled everything on that station.
They said they want to start the show up again, especially if they could crowd fund it. a lot of them have kids and families now. Except kyle.

Just watched it today. Doug was fucking golden and the stuff with accountant Jeremy qas perfect. The league stuff wasn't as unbearable as I thought it would be except for the finals because that shit was more impossible than shooting lasers from a nes controller. Speaking of I know the dude that played the Masterer is dead but did they have to drop all the secret world shit? None of it got resolved.

I only liked PP for the first few episodes when it was straight up mockumentary style and pretty much dropped it hard when the retarded story line shit came into play, but I loved those couple episodes. It's nice to see them again.
