COD is the same COD it's always been. I like how Battlefield has stepped away from marketing their own games merits, and instead are turning to the "us vs them" form of marketing, just like Sony. Results clearly show it works.

This, I'm kinda psyched. All the classes in BF3 and 4 felt too samey. If they can actually deliver on threatening melee combat (which was the first thing they mentioned on that presentation) while making the classes feel very separate it'll be pretty good.

Legitimate reasons to be angry about Infinite Warfare:

WW2 was fought on pretty much every type of natural condition, tropical, snowy, urban, country, desert, then there was land, sea and air battles with TWO different major sides to the war. DICE is fucking retarded, they have the experience, technology and budget to make something really great, but chose to throw it all away on a technologically shit era for war.

The majority of today's BF fanbase is consisted of people who quit CoD and went to BF or got introduced to it by BC2/BF3. They keep saying how Battlefield is more mature than CoD and how teamplay is more encouraged even though after Bad Company the series went more and more the lone wolf style. They even said in an interview about BF1 that the lone wolf approach is encouraged in the game and you don't need to be a part of the team.
DICE/EA even said that BF3 is competing against MW3. Also that Battlefield history stream was pure shit. People didn't even know BF Vietnam existed, they didn't recognize BF2 and a lot of them even said it looks like shit. The hosts of that stream haven't even played most of the older games even though they were invited to talk about games they never played. I fucking hate what Battlefield has become and the pretentious fanbase it has now.

I thought AW was okay. BOIII is good. Not as good as BOII or CoD4 (best two in my opinion), but good. AW was a solid first effort from Sledgehammer and I appreciate the effort to bring in something new to the franchise even if they overdid it a bit.
But yeah if Infinite Warfare is as divisive as Ghosts, Activision has a problem. They can't go forward with a third of their rotation turning in a clunker every time.
