you're not any better than people saying they need to "gitgud" on the gyro controls in Zero or the horrible touch screen shit in KI:U.
I bet the next Star Fox game is a sort of remake of Assault in which they replaced all the ground sections with stuff like the walker. That would make a truly awesome starfox game.

Zero and KI:U controls are perfectly good.
Assault, however, uses PS1 controls for a Gamecube TPS. Also ground sections are not shit because of the controls, but because they are boring.
At least Zero didn't require you to get out of your arwing to move on the ground

Are the controls bad? They work.
Is it slower than space combat? Yes, but often enough challenging enough to keep you on the edge.

it wasn't supposed to be a Star Fox game in the first place until Shiggy came by telling Rare to slap Star Fox on it. Even without the DP stuff, the railshooter section are just downright bad and disappointing.

i've beat Expert mode on SF2 4 years ago m8, even if it's not the true final version of SF2 that Cuthbert hold it's still a classic.
