I think that game would have been released and done well if it was developed for anything but the wii.
Nintendo really hangs developers out to dry, I think. Look at wayforward, the struggled getting shantae out but it did so much better being released on the PC.

They went on to make Saints IV and Mortal Kombat X, so they are still at it.

They did the next gen port for SR IV and I think made Gat Out of Hell as well. Their port of SRIV has some annoying bugs though, like bought clothing being removed from your inventory once you change.
