I just started playing this gem and so far I'm loving every minute of it. How come this series wasn't so popular? It easily kicks the shit out of both Crash and Spyro. How are the other games? Is the remake worth playing too?

Klonoa 2 is pretty great, definitely play it if you have the chance.
The Wiimake is the original game, almost level for level. Maybe do it if you feel like replaying but don't bother now.

Klonoa 2 is great but it's impossible to emulate.
The GBA games are alright but they're puzzle platformers rather than traditional platformers.
Wiimake is fine but not worth playing if you're already going through the original.

Klonoa 2 is the best of the series, although I guess there aren't that many games. The GBA ones are decent.
I was actually able to emulate 2 pretty well, you just have to use a bunch of weird settings

I really enjoyed the PS1 games as well as the GBA games, though the GBA games are very puzzle oriented. Despite the difference in pace, they're great games on both platforms.
