Ok, /v/ I need help. Out of all the countries in EU4, which one should I start with? Barely touched the game so I'm as new as a fucking embryo.
Starting in 1444 with the War Machine Mod for /pol/ levels of clay taking. Any suggestions?
France is generally considered easy mode, so good for learning the general mechanics but it may also teach some bad habits.

Spain is also recomended for new players.
You could try to play as the aztecs, they are isolated enough for an easy time as a new player.
I took a break from this game about two years ago and I just can't go back to it now. So much has changed for the worse it's absolutely ridiculous. Total disaster of what I once would call my favorite game.

Play as an irish nation and unite Ireland.
Then move on to playing as France and uniting France, Ottomans and raping Europe/Arabia, etc.
Then move on to something a little more challenging but not too crazy.

>Play Aragon and form Spain.
>Play Sweden and form Scandinavia.
>Play as England and form Great Britain.
>Play as Muscovy and form Russia.
If you've gotten gud and really want a challenge, try one of the following:
>Play Byzantium and reconquer the empire of Justinian.
>Play Albania and drive the Muslims from Europe.
>Play the Knights of Rhodes and found the Kingdom of Jerusalem.
>Play as Jianzhou, unite the jurchen tribes and form Manchu, then defeat Ming and form Qing.
>Play as Inca, westernize, and conquer all of South America.
>Play as Hejaz or Nejd and form Arabia.
>Play as Ryukyu and unite Japan.

I've only put in about 400 hours.
I find that Muscovy is the most forgiving start where you have significant power and money.
A general understanding of Russian history is also very helpful to help guide you.
(hint you need a port in the Baltic called St. Petersburg that was historically established in 1700 but you can get there much faster if you don't have a slavic brain leading your nation).
