I was playing through the whole of Deadspace 1 on the hardest difficulty with v-sync on and it was super hard. Afterwards I turned it off and replayed it and it was so fucking easy to aim all of a sudden, all the horror was gone. I will say though that the delay is more noticeable in certain games, so it can seem almost placebo in some cases.

Maybe one or two have praised that apparently controversial Nintendo stuff from a few months back, but that's a really big maybe. And even still, it doesn't represent the entirety of video game reviewers.
There are plenty of decent criticisms of the business. Maybe he's afraid that reviewers will give certain games good reviews in hopes of later working for the developers. That's happened before. Maybe he has a complaint about people raising issues of gender in reviews. That's his choice to be mad at or not.
