In the meantime Uncharted 4 works perfectly on my system and I get to enjoy playing it. Who gives a shit what critics think? They are all failures. They don't make art. I don't hold their opinion any higher than I do for the chuckle fucks here, and if I listened to either, I'd never play games again. Remember everything is shit. Your favorite game is shit. Your least favorite game is shit. Reviews are opinions, and opinions from people you don't know or trust should be ignored in the first place. I don't care if this game drops down to an 8 on metacritic. It won't change the way that I feel about the game one bit. Why is this so hard for people?

I've seen snippets of gameplay out of curiosity since I don't own a PS4. I did own a PS3 though and played the uncharted collection. Uncharted 4 looks nice but nothing ground breaking or the system seller it's being hyped as. Maybe the story disappoints but it looks and plays exactly like Uncharted2&3.
4 is just too samey despite gaming on average having gone up a notch in the new gen. Can't rate it since I have not played it, but everyone is shitting on Uncharted 4's meandering story.
Even indie games do their schtick, their niche incredibly well nowadays. Can't half ass AAA games and expect a standing ovation.

What a fucking letdown
If I had to classify Uncharted I'd say it's an uninspired game. It's safe and returns to a lot of the points of Uncharted 2. The game, and to a greater degree, the the series relies heavily on impressive set pieces and facial expressions.
The actual gameplay is disserviced in favor of telling a summer movie type of swash buckling romp. It's not a bad game, but it's not a fantastic game. It's just a return to the series.
