Excepting everything that could be good in Overwatch is either locked behind a cooldown or has an alternative making the actual method useless (rocket jump of pharrah). The skill ceiling is sadly very low individually compared to TF2. You can't be versatile at all in Overwatch, and there's no cool alternatives for a class. TF2 with the loadouts has many more possibilities than Overwatch. Playing with the shovel doing while rocketjumping has nothing to do with playing with the parachute and the liberty launcher, and is also different from playing with the vanilla rocket launcher or the Black box.
Every class has more than 3 meaningful combinations in TF2.

It is very true that loadouts in TF2 add a lot of variety to the game, but it also adds a layer of uncertainty to the gameplay. When you see a spy in TF2 you have no god damned idea what his loadout is and what he could be doing. Is he using the dead ringer? Is he using your eternal reward? You have no idea, and there is no way to play around everything all at once. Some people like this concept, and having played well over 1000 hours of TF2 i certainly dont hate it, but it doesnt lend itself very well to a game thats trying to bill itself as competetive. On Overwatch when you see a McCree you know exactly what he can do and he knows exactly what you can do which at least puts both people on equal footing from a knowledge perspective.

Overwatch seemed like one of those good but not great games. I had fun in the beta but nothing really grabbed me so I probably won't buy it.
Honestly I wanted to buy Battleborn because it looks like there is more content, but all my friends are going Overwatch. I am so conflicted because a game is always infintely better with friends, but Battleborn has itemization and pve content.
Though Overwatch seems to have better class characters in general. I guess I will probably buy it, mainly because of friends, and as much as I hate Blizzard these days, I know they usually release a crisp if not lacking in features content.

Every single character is a boring, bland piece of shit designed by a committee to appeal to as big of an audience as possible. There's no cleverness in any of them, no wit and absolutely no original thought or idea. My favorite character is a dick sucking vampire in a comic about God being an asshole, written by a guy that is notoriously edgy and disliked by producers. random crits can be disabled (and are on competitive matches). Also you can get better at getting random crits by killing people, for every person you killed in the last ~20 seconds you get a ~3% extra chance on getting crits.
Once more I don't see how this is relevant when you're trying to defend a game with "PRESS Q TO WIN" abilities?

Of course not, it's a game of counterpick the enemy team's character, just like pretty much every moba.
And it still is press Q to win 90% of the time, because every normal person uses it to kill people. And what does killing people do? Contribute to the objective because when using your epic Q press you want to kill as much people as possible, and most people are all bunched up/camping at the objective (or at the terrible designed map's chokepoints).
This all said, I do have to give overwatch some kind of credit for the fact that pretty much every game teams seemed very focussed on the overall objective instead of just pretending it's team deathmatch.

After reaching a higher level and playing with people of higher level and experience, I rarely saw ultimates being thrown out unless it was during critical moments, such as contested points fractions from capture, or carts inches from checkpoints.
They certainly weren't done to get the highest amount of people killed. Of course, this was in games with experienced players; I imagine it's a lot more focused on individual success at lesser skill levels.

All other ""skill"" in this game is 99% picking a hero that counters as many enemy heroes as possible, then you wait till the enemy team has counterpicked your team after 3 minutes and then your team once again counterpicks and so on, great game.

You just change your approach, nigger. You can hear her shouting her line through the whole map. You know that her team has wallhack, so you know to err on the side of caution for the painfully short duration of the ability.
Take more care around corners and blind spots. Her ult doesn't make people's aim better. Widowmaker's ult is only as strong as you let it be by thinking rushing around corners is as safe as it normally would be. And yes, this is countering the ability because the ability itself isn't all that amazing to begin with unless your opponents are simpering toddlers.
