People are still going to use a Springfield 1903 or some shit with a tryhard scope so they can sit back in a trench and ping off people just like they do in fucking every other battlefield game that includes sniper rifles
I seriously don't get why servers limit sniper/recon spots to maybe 4 per side or some shit.
They don't even do anything either than try and pick you off, sometimes they succeed, most o the times they don't.
Then you just hop in a tank and blast their face off.
It's retarded. Snipers shouldn't even exist in a game like battlefield.
I mean, these are highly paid professionals and they can't y'know, fucking read at least one book or hire a advisor on the subject

yeah, i don't get the point of snipers in these arcade-y, deathmatch games. there is never ever a suppression mechanic and there is never ever an incapacitate function and people are damage sponges so that renders machine guns useless, a machine gun in these games is nothing more than a very big clip and a long reload.
so that leaves snipers with no targets of opportunity, they just arbitrarily and slowly boost their own score.
shit, even in the old days, snipers could at least snipe through gun breaches on tanks. in video games they don't do shit.
