That boss isn't hard, you just have to paralyze it with climhazard and seal evil. You don't even need to grind, you should be leveled more than enough by the time you get there. Any retard casual could figure this out because everything about FF7 is piss easy.

I still don't really understand the way this boss works. I've had runs where he transforms and wipes the floor with me, and other ones where he just lies back and takes it like a bitch. He clearly reacts to the types of attacks you use against him, but he doesn't have enough health and doesn't spell it out enough that I've ever really figured out how it worked.

If you drop his HP to a certain point, he'll transform.
If you reached that certain point by damaging him with magic, he becomes his magic version which is way easier than the physical one.
If you damage him with physical attacks, he transforms into the fuck-your-shit-up version.

I could maybe understand if you were talking about the Hector Hard mode version of that chapter (with the incredibly buff Valks), but otherwise it's really easy.
