If they don't bend history and make it so that most grunts have bolt-actions rather than assault rifles it could be neat. We both know they won't do that, but a man can dream. There is some other stuff that has me intrigued, like the improved melee system and destruction having an effect on how aircraft handle.

Dorito spotting, suppression vehicle disablement, all those shitty mechanics now iconic to Battlefield will still be in the new one.
Plus they can't make maps worth a shit anymore. So far the best map in BF4 is a fucking BF2 remake. Plus the WWI setting now gives DICE an excuse to make more Metro/Locker-style tunnel maps.

BF4 is the better infantry shooter but it just doesn't feel immersive, something about the sound/mechanics is off.
64 player Caspian Border on BF3 is the closest I've ever come to feeling like I was at war. That and 1942 of course.

Battlefield 4 was a good game after the updates and I fucking loved Battlefield 3. The game will be better than waifuwatch and paying 80 bucks to play a decent cod game.

WWI is usually not represented in games for a reason, it did not have any depth to it, just meaningless slaughter. From what I have seen in the trailer they are going for the end of the war, considering there are fucking tanks and flamethrower stormtroopers, which misses the point and all the interressting battles. Also Americans even being a faction in it is a disgrace.
Knowing the former battlefields, they are going to completely miss the theme and might have aswell gone for some wacky steampunk fantasy shit at this point, I heavily doubt that this game will be more than tangentially related to the actuall war.
Still, maybe it will be a decent game in itself, but the fact that they picked WWI makes me cringe to this day. Worse than WE WUZ shit in historical inaccuracy imo.

A agme where not every weapon relies on spray and pray would be a bless for a cahnge, but I doubt that'll be the case, because actually having to aim and requiering some skill to be good at the game is bad for marketing apparentlly.

No. The only part that might be half way interesting will be the dog fights with planes. And that's assuming they actually tweak the mechanics to better simulate the planes.
Other than that it's just going to be battlefield except everyone will get a sniper rifle for every class now.
